Model 270

My company is a managed services company and currently we do not own any of the 
AS400/I5 that we manage.

We are cconsidering the purchase of a used AS400 Model 270 and using V5R3 as 
the operating system.  This system would be used for monitoring all the other 
system messages. We will be using Robot/Console or Messenger console for the 
master monitor.

I am considering getting a system with 10 gig of memory and 35-40 gig of disk. 
The main box would be an AS400 Server 9406-270 with 2063 and 1502.

Will this system be capable of what we are planning on doing?  If not what 
would be a better choice?
