As you so rightly point out though, we have exported our pollutants and dangerous jobs. Most heavy and dirty industry is long gone. Slave & Child labor in America is almost a thing of the past (we only allow it in the Marianas now. It would be gone there, too, excepting for Tom De Lay's intervention.)
I wonder where Nordstrom buys the shirts they sell? Probably not the USA?As to the Tsunami... welll.... we aren't doing very well in New Orleans, are we?
