My company is making steps into the AS/400 (iSeries) arena. We will be developing java software to run on an OS/400 V5R1 using WebSphere MQ. If you have WebSphere MQ installed on a machine, do you need to purchase the software license in order to use it for development purposes? We have been told that you need to. MQ has a costly license, which we'd rather avoid if possible. Thank you.
