What you are reading my friends is the result of lobbying. There is an endless lobbying for increase of immigration of people with Hi-tech skills. Do the math: in 2000 where the salary of a programmer with 5 years exp was $90,000 yearly, in 2002 the same is paid $70,000. In 2000 where the hourly pay was $80, in 2002 the same is $60. How much lobbying that difference can buy? Again, Consultants should hire lobbyists. Referent to the guys that are happy, VERY happy, to receive $22/hour, working 10 hours/day and billing 8 (and there are a lot, believe me, plenty and all around, myself saw and worked with people that was getting that money (and with masters sundry in computers , as per their say)), the organization that brings them in have slogans like: "Support of those legally trying to immigrate" and "elimination of difficulties" and "interface between the immigrants and the executive and legislative branches" and "within the framework of the Constitution", and once they have em all rounded up, get the $100/hour and pay the poor guys $22. It is called entrepreneurship. Could not we be entrepreneurs too?
