Eric, if you have a valid license to Websphere Development Tools from V4R5 on up, you can get the refresh of the client at no cost. There are no server requirements, other than PTFs you might need to ask your customers to install

The install of V5R1 can take a lot of space on disk - no options to install CODE only, but you can run only CODE, which does not need as much horsepower as the Websphere client - 128 meg is sufficient for this component.
