> I was just passing on the article to show > that it is still possible to just use CODE/400 > and not the rest of the stuff you get in WDSC. Yup - I understand. I just wanted to relate that if one can't load WDSCi, one can't use Code in WDSCi. > "PII" - Is that right or a typo? Man, that is an OLD processor. That's right. Pentuim II, 450 MHz. And it runs WDT 5.1 Code/400 very snappily. Considering the anemic state of the economy, the company is rather unwilling to spend $1000+ USD (PC + XP license fee) to enable me to use a fraction of the capability (we're green screen only) of a slower running, less functional (jLpex is still behind Code), web-centric development tool like WDSCi. And I honestly can't say I can blame the boss this time. I'm already using PC based Code/400, so I'm already pretty productive - and we don't target V5R2 so I don't even notice the fact that WDT 5.1 Code chokes on V5R2 BIFs. > The current version of CODE/400 that comes with WDSC 5.0 > fully supports all the new RPG IV stuff in V5R2. Very nice. Thanks for that! --buck
