I like the sound of running WDSc on OS X with the integrated (yes it is faster) java VM it would fly! Apple did java right, if the tools (including CAE) run on OS X, then we (well...myself and one other) here would be a happier bunch. Where are these surveys I have never seen them? If they are posted here, they must not have caught my attention. -----Original Message----- From: Mackie, Roger L. (Precision Press) It's not only Linux that is shut-out of WSDC until the iSeries plug-ins are made platform independent--it's Apple OS X, too. I'd switch back to the betamax of personal computing platforms in a flash if my boss or I could afford it. Programming for a Power PC (iSeries) on a Power PC (Mac)--that would be sweet in my book. -----Original Message----- From: Phil Coulthard So far, each time we do a poll for interest, we get very small numbers in response. If you want a Linux client for WDSC, please let us know! PS, the underlying WSSD product is available on Linux. I'll take it Paul's vote is for it :-). Actually, FRED is the best place to log the requirement and vote for it.
