There are a few of us in our shop testing this out before rolling it out. We are using Version 4 and have noticed a few problems, besides slow access times. 1. When we start the debugger and attempt to bring up the job list from our host from the attach panel, we receive the message "Logon Failed, Check Userid and password and try again", and yes, we have been real careful to type them correctly. More than one of us has tried. When we log straight on to the AS/400 it tells us that there was a failed logon attempt. 2. When two of us are using Code 400, and the first person who loaded Code 400 attempts a compile, the second person to load it gets the compile completion message and the message listing panel. 3. When compiling in COBOL and we receive an error message listing, it is impossible to link from the message panel to the edit session because the line numbers don't match up. We know this happens because of extra lines included for the copybooks and externally described objects at compile time cause the line numbers to increment higher than the actual number of lines in the source member. Is there any solution for this? Regards. Richard L.
