Violaine, NP on the delay, I was on something else anyway. ;-) It just seems to me that having to open 25 members individually is a bit combersome, regardless of whether they open in one or multiple windows. JD Edwards uses /COPY abundantly throughout their code. I tried creating a Group, but it doesn't seem to do anything other than give you a popup where you can select from among source members you have already opened. Is there another way, or are there plans to make the process less cumbersome. I am trying to promote CODE here at Blockbuster, but if I tell my peers that they may have to open between 20 and 50 members to use this functionality, well, let's just say the response will not be very positive. :-( Thanks for you help, Danny code400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx on 03/01/2003 02:48:09 PM Please respond to "CODE/400 Discussion & Support" <code400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "CODE/400 Discussion & Support" <code400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: (bcc: Daniel Hayes/IT/Corporate/Blockbuster) Subject: Re: Expanding /copy into source Hi Danny, Sorry about the delay :-) If you have the menu option View->Default to ring selected in CODE Editor, then all the members will open in the same window. You shouldn't have a problem, even if you wanted to open separate windows. When you use Navigator->Open group all source members open in the editor will get pulled into the Navigator. Hope this helps! There are 21 /COPY statements in the program. The way I understand what you are saying, is to open a new window for each copy member, is that what you mean? I am concerned that I will not have sufficient resources to open 21 more windows on this NT4.0 PC. I only have 196 MB's of RAM. Is there a way to open all of them in one window? Try opening your member and all copy members in CODE Editor, then select View->Navigator->Open Group This will show all open members in the Navigator view. To help open your copy members, try using the Edit->/COPY member (EDIT) menu option on the lines which specify the copy members. Hope this helps!
