The answer is definitely YES.
This new IDE/RSE tool will soon make CODE obsolete as IBM is working
towards a much better solution for customers.

RSE is designed to work in today's more complex environment, and it will
take on more and more of the CODE functionality... indeed
the upcoming 5.0 release will be a big step in this direction with new
support for syntax checking and program verifiers, among
others. There will even be an outline view for RPG and COBOL, and some
other goodies for RPG.
