I'm running a 1.8ghz P4 with 256 mb under Win XP. XP has been more stable than Win 98. Bear in mind that all I've run since I got this machine a couple of months ago is the Code editor. I haven't found Designer to be all that productive for me and I haven't had time to get into the Debugger yet. On this machine the GUI CL prompting appears a little sluggish, from the little I've used it. If I could wring another 256mb out of the powers that be I suspect I be much happier, because I do tend to keep a lot of Windows sessions open ( Multiple CA sessions, Word, Lotus Notes, etc., plus Code.) I used to have a 350mhz P3 with 128mb on Win 98, so I stuck with V5.1 on that, but was reasonably happy with the Code editor performance. I did find that Macafee sometime seriously impacted performance. That seems to have subsided with the 1.8ghz machine. Sam
