What is the latest Service Pack and where do I get it?
This is a new machine that never had previous versions of code Running
here is the PDM option I use
CALL PGM(QDEVTOOLS/EVFCFDBK) PARM('37' 'Y' 'DEVELOP' '<LOCAL> CODEEDIT
"<DEVELOP>&L/&F(&N)"')
I did Install some programs that use JAVA, could this affect Code.

-Have you applied the latest service pack?
-What was the 'before' before V5R1?
-What is the PDM option for starting CODE you are using?

A little background
PC System: windows 2000 professional
Iseries: V5r1
Code: V5r1
code runs really slow now, I can't open any new programs just programs that
I have opened before. Also, our PDM option to start Code
does not work for me any more...
I see the following message in the Communications Error log when I start up
the Communications Daemon....
evfcsvrd.exe Wed Apr 17 12:39:03 2002
evfCons.java:ccSetCODEServerOrderList:Unexpected error.
java.lang.NullPointerException
