V4R5M1  -  W2K

Ever since putting on cume C1296 & group ptfs's, I have been getting the
following error when running a VARPG app. I am just getting into my first
app so that is the only thing I can think of that might have changed because
the error was not there before the latest ptf updates.

The error message & extended help are listed below:
<snip>
                        Additional Message Information

Message ID . . . . . . :   CPD3E3E       Severity . . . . . . . :   40

Message type . . . . . :   Diagnostic

Date sent  . . . . . . :   03/28/02      Time sent  . . . . . . :   16:35:50

Message . . . . :   Start of DDM/DRDA TCP/IP server failed for reason 7.

Cause . . . . . : The failure can be user caused or due to a system
defect.
  The user caused reason codes and meanings are:

    6 -- Bad library list - user deleted a library.

    12 -- Job description specifies multithread capable.

Recovery . . . : Correct the problem indicated by the reason code if user

  caused. Code 12 means that the job description for the user profile under

  which the QRWTSRVR prestart job it started (normally QUSER) specifies that

  the job is multithread capable. Either the job description must be
changed
  to specify ALWMLTTHD(*NO), or a different user profile whose JOBD does

  specify ALWMLTTHD(*NO) must be specified for the QRWTSRVR prestart job

  entry.

    If the reason code is not in the above list, report the failure and
reason
  code to IBM service.
<snip>

Stopping DDM is not on option because the varpg app then will not run &
looking through OpsNav I sure didn't see much listed for DDM properties.
Which manual do I look at for more info in setting up DDM? Or did one of
the ptf's I put on do me in?

Thanks - Dennis.
