Well, there is no CMNTYPE parameter in our V4R1 STRCODE command. The remote location name is insufficient for a TCP/IP address and I can find no PTFs for V4R1 on the IBM web site related to CODE/400. Of course, I might not have been looking in the right place, but I saw plenty for versions prior to and after V4R1. Thanks anyway. Donald R. Maybe you haven't got the right PTFs loaded on the 400. <clip>
