I presume that the problem you're talking about is in V5R1 in free form calcs. This problem was fixed on the Host with ptf SI01625. CODE/400 will pick up this fix in the next release. The following code would issue RNF5247. dendxx s 1a /free endxx = '1'; *inlr = '1'; /end-free If you code EVAL endxx = '1'; the error will not occur. The iSeries did that too until I got our ops people to apply a ptf.
