Phil, You don't mention what version + service level you are at, but when I try using V5R1M0 Service Pack 2 I do get an error. When the member is not locked, I see the following: D:\temp\>codesrv put OS400 proof.irp PUT OK: proof.irp --> BATTHISH/QRPGLESRC(PROOF) PUT OK indicates that the PUT was successful. When I try and the member is locked, I get the following: D:\temp\>codesrv put OS400 proof.irp Member locked in object . I think that the message is explanatory enough. Thanks, Violaine Batthish CODE Project Lead batthish@ca.ibm.com IBMCA(BATTHISH) WDT/400 page: http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/wdt400 WDT/400 Support : http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/wdt400/support "Phil" <sublime78ska@yaho To: <code400-l@midrange.com> o.com> cc: Sent by: Subject: RE: Put to Host code400-l-admin@mi drange.com 09/21/2001 05:07 PM Please respond to code400-l I'm only uploading the member. I'm not connected while editing. Every once in awhile I'll have a 5250 session up with the member open and forget about it, click to upload the member and then realize what I did. I know better than to cancel the upload so I let it finish and then do it again. I'm slowly learning to make sure I don't have the member open before uploading.
