Hi Jim, I have opened APAR SE02404 to track the activation group/CRTBNDCL problem. I will privately mail you a patch to keep you going. As for the changing the host version of CRTBNDCL, I'm afraid I have no influence there :-) Violaine Batthish CODE/400 Project Lead batthish@ca.ibm.com IBMCA(BATTHISH) WDT/400 page: http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/wdt400 WDT/400 Support : http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/wdt400/support Jim Essinger <esinger@fmtc.com> To: CODE400-L@midrange.com Sent by: cc: owner-code400-l@mi Subject: CRTBNDCL compile options problem drange.com 07/23/2001 01:51 PM Please respond to CODE400-L Hello all! I'm having a problem with the CRTBNDCL prompting on V5R1M0 (WDT) of the Code product. I can not use all 10 characters of the activation group attribute prompt. It will only allow me to enter 7 characters, when the command on the iSeries 400 will allow 10 characters. Also - if you have any pull with the compiler developers, I would DEARLY like to have a binding directory entry on the CRTBNDCL command like COBOL has on the CRTBNDCBL command. This would allow me to do a one step compile of ILE when I have to bind several modules together, and the CL is controlling the whole group. Is there any work arouds for these issues?
