Not relative to Code/400, but I've seen this behavior from Windows9x (too)
many times. It can usually be traced to abends of prior installs and not
clearing the tmp files they created. Take a look in your temp folder
(C:\TEMP or C:\WINDOWS\TEMP or other depending on your environment
variables) and get rid of extraneous sub folders and temp files. Some may
be locked by running processes, a reboot first can sometimes help. Then try
setup again and it usually runs fine.

Subject: Setup error

I uninstalled wdt400 trying to fix VAJ. Now all i get is the
following error when i try to install. I even tried to go back to
V3R2M2. It gives me an error as soon as it starts also. I'm running
Win98SE. I tried to reinstall the OS, I updated the windows
installer, but nothing helps.
Thanks for any help. I would hate to think i will have to go back to
SEU or wipe the hard drive to get this to work again.
