Hi Vadim,
Sure! I have an ILE program called CV0210 that I want to put in debug. So, from Code Editor I clicked on the debug button. It then prompted me to signon. When the panel comes up where you can enter parameters I just changed the program name to CV0210CL (which is the name of the CLP that copies some data, performs file overrides and calls my program (CV0210). I have done this in the past with V4R5 and it seemed to work fine, but for some reason with V5R1 I'm getting the OPM error I described earlier. I'm new to the whole Websphere Dev Tools package, so it could very well be something I'm doing (or not doing) wrong. Thanks for the help Vadim!
Chris

Hi Chris,
It sounds to me like your CL program doesn't have any debug data - the
message is somewhat misleading in this case.
I wonder if you could send me a note describing exactly how you start the
debugger. Perhaps, you could send a note to
me directly and once we figure out what is going on, I'll post the results
to the list.

Subject: Debugger question...
Hi all,
I just loaded the new Code/400 and when I try to go into debug for my RPG
program via a CL program it tells me that the CL program cannot be added to
the ILE environment. It said it can't do it because it does not contain OPM
source debug data. I was able to do this with the older version. I need
to have the CLP call my RPG program, because of overrides, file copies,
etc. Can someone tell me what's going on and how I can get around it?
Thanks!
