Just to put my 5 cents in: using *LIST option is quite convenient - especially if you move your objects around and don't want to worry about the source. The draw back is that it increases the size of your objects. In this case how about having *LIST (I prefer) in debugging view.It gives a good source load. The other option is *ALL. Since you're going to recompile anyway, what about changing the source type to CLLE? Or is there a consequence for doing that? Does this just mean >that the CLP was not compiled for debug? OPM source debug data is pretty much what you suspect it to be. In order to use the ILE debugger, the program object needs the ILE debugging templates included. That's not technically accurate, but it gets the idea across. Create your OPM program with OPTION(*SRCDBG) to include the proper debugging template in the program object. The green screen STRDBG debugger needs OPMSRC(*YES) for some odd reason, but when you specify those options you can use the ILE STRDBG on both ILE and OPM objects.
