Hi Phil,

You are correct, the "verify" does occur on your PC, BUT when you have
external information such as copy members or copy books, or database or
display file references, CODE must connect to the host to retrieve that
information. To speed things up, and/or to work disconnected, you should
verify once with prompting and specify the CACHE option. This will save
all external references to disk. When you reconnect, or change one of
these external references, you should prompt again and select the Refresh
Cache option.

thanks,

How does verify work? When I click verify I see the modem lights blink. I
thought verify would run on my PC? Can I verify without being connected to
an as/400?

Phil
