I certainly THINK I do. I believe the Daemon starts when I boot the PC, and I defined a logon at that time. If I didn't, one would assume that the operations (editing, dsu, etc...) on the PC side would fail, and they do not. This was strictly an attempt to use PDM options. Do I need to run STRCODE still? If so, THAT is not working so well. I was under the impression that as of a couple of releases ago the STRCODE was not needed anymore. If it is, there must be some parameters I am missing here, as the attempt to run STRCODE seems to fail in about the same fashion as the attempt to use the PDM option, with very similar messages. I get a message that says "EVF4021I - A connection request from IO400.IOINTERNATIONAL has been received" and when I click OK I get what appears to be a security error complaining that "Connection request has been ended by the daemon. Code user *NONE is not allowed to connect" ... The option coding I used is: call qcode/evfcfdbk parm('37' 'Y' 'IO400' '<LOCAL> CODEEDIT "<IO400>&L/&F(&N)" /M Y /N') Any ideas? -- Thanks -- Ric LuBell -----Original Message----- From: Phil [mailto:sublime78ska@yahoo.com] Sent: Friday, May 11, 2001 8:34 PM To: CODE400-L@midrange.com Subject: RE: Option in PDM for starting up code/400 Thanks to Buck's help with the Project Organizer I can now use Code/400 and Code Designer. And I like it - a lot better than seu. Thought I ought to mention it since I didn't hesitate to voice my frustration. <g> Phil _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
