Hi Bill, For myself, I found that temporarily changing both the TEMP and TMP environment variables worked. However, I can note that I still had problems due to the fact that I had forgotten to run the service pack install from the DOS session where I had changed the environment variables :) thanks, Violaine Batthish CODE/400 Project Lead batthish@ca.ibm.com IBMCA(BATTHISH) CODE/400 page: http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/varpg CODE/400 Support : http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/varpg/support "Bill" <bubbzbill@yahoo.com>@midrange.com on 01/29/2001 05:41:59 PM Please respond to CODE400-L@midrange.com Sent by: owner-code400-l@midrange.com To: <CODE400-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: Re: V4.5 SP1 -- Out of Disk Space Both the tmp and temp variables are pointing to the big drive. Moving stuff off the c drive would be a bit painful, and of course shouldn't be necessary (it'll be the last resort I guess). ----- Original Message ----- From: David Wright To: CODE400-L@midrange.com Sent: Monday, January 29, 2001 12:57 PM Subject: RE: V4.5 SP1 -- Out of Disk Space The problem may lie with where your TEMP files are being stored... I am pretty sure that if you change your TMP & TEMP environment variables to a different drive before starting, you will be able to complete the install... Or, it might be easier to just move some data off of the C drive long enough to do the install... Then move them back when the install completes..... +--- | This is the CODE/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to CODE400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to CODE400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to CODE400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: larry@paque.net +---
