I've been through the same mess. If you can convince someone to order it
for you, it is a no-charge upgrade. I actually got it expedited to make up
for the Chinese fire drill I had to go through to get it ordered. Came in
two days.
Code/400 works without the AS/400 being at V4R5.
Keep in mind that there is an AS/400 product 5769-CL3 needed for V4R5 (which
installs as->
Display Installed Licensed Programs
System:
Licensed Installed
Program Status Description
5769AS1 *COMPATIBLE WebSphere Application Server for AS/400
5769CL2 *INSTALLED WEBSPHERE DEV TOOLS - WORKSTATION COMPONENTS
5769CL2 *INSTALLED COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT
5769CL2 *INSTALLED VISUALAGE RPG
5769CL2 *INSTALLED WEBSPHERE STUDIO FOR AS/400
5769CL2 *INSTALLED VISUALAGE FOR JAVA FOR AS/400
Are you confused yet?
There is also the PC product that you are referring to. Set aside a couple
of hours to install if you want the whole ball of wax.
The support team at Rochester is one of the best I have worked with!!!!!
Good job!!!
