In VisualAge resource workshop bitmap editor, I created custom colors on a
256 color palette, and DESELECTED the checkbox in Options-->Editor
options-->Save with default device colors. Unfortunately when I save the
icon, the colors revert back to default colors. Why isn't VisualAge
resource workshop bitmap editor saving my custom colors? (My monitor is 32
bits color.)

The help says:

"Turn the Save With Default Device Colors check box off if you want to save
a cusom Colors palette you've created. When this check box is on, any
colors you've customized in the colors palette will revert to the default
color when you close the Bitmap Editor. This option only applies to a
256-color palette."

Why is it ignoring my 'check box off'?
