This is the behavior I expect and prefer, given the choices. If I click on some place on a hidden window and inadvertently start machinery rumbling I would be unhappy. that is my 'umble opinion, only. _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ "John Taylor" <john.taylor@telusplanet.net> Sent by: owner-code400-l@midrange.com 08/24/2000 11:36 AM Please respond to CODE400-L To: "Code400 List" <code400-l@midrange.com> cc: Subject: Spastic cursor... Hello IBM, We're now up to V3R2M3, and we're still plagued by one of the more annoying bugs that has been in the product since day one; - two members are open in a horizontal split view - take your mouse and click somewhere in the member that's *not* in focus - cursor moves to the position that it was in the last time the member was in focus. The behaviour that I would expect here, is that the cursor is placed at the position where I click my mouse. This is how all other Win apps seem to behave - and is certainly a more useful behaviour. Is this not considered a bug by you folks? Is that why it still hasn't been addressed? Regards, John Taylor Canada p.s. - Is there an official support channel for this product? +--- | This is the CODE/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to CODE400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to CODE400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to CODE400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: larry@paque.net +--- +--- | This is the CODE/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to CODE400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to CODE400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to CODE400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: larry@paque.net +---
