Rick, If you compile prompted from Code Designer (Embedded image moved to file: pic03560.pcx) using Tools->Compile->Prompt You will see the Code Program Generator: (Embedded image moved to file: pic00344.pcx) If you then hit the Options button you will get all the possible options on the CRTPF command in a GUI with combo boxes etc. They are categorized under various tabs. I would assume that it would be easier to discover and use the options using this interface. (Embedded image moved to file: pic05676.pcx) Is there a problem with this approach or did you not stumble across it yet? Thanks (I tried attaching bitmaps of each step but this mailing list is restricted to 40k messages) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- > > > Edmund Reinhardt, AS/400 AD Tools, reinhard@ca.ibm.com > Dept 607, IBM Canada Lab TL 778-4392 Phone 448-4392 > > > To: CODE400-L@midrange.com > cc: > Subject: RE: Communication types in Code/400 > > FROM: FLAGLER KEENE Flagler, Rick: Manager, IT > > DATE: APRIL 28, 2000 > SUBJECT: RE: Communication types in Code/400 > > > You should definitely try code/400 for your database DDS.
