Eric,

What Dave said about STRCODE being required for prompting CL is correct.

The CODE Designer handles DSPF, PRTF, and PF files.  It does not handle
logical files.

Eric,

I haven't used debug, but I have no problem with CL or CMD prompting.  I'm
using STRCODE from a 5250 session, though - prompting won't work if you use
the other method, since that runs in a batch job on the /400 rather than an
interactive one.

I haven't tried Code Designer on database files yet.  I knew that it is
supposed to work for physicals, but I don't recall seeing anywhere that it
works for logicals.
