SUBJECT:        Compiling VARPG to Java  - errors about SDS and INFDS statem    
           


Since I sent this message, I've further examined the INFDS documentation 
that is specific to the VARPG product and it appears like some of the 
sub-fields supported for ILE RPG aren't used in VARPG. Therefore, I can 
assume that the Java compiler is examining these more critically perhaps? 
I removed some of them and now get further, but still receive a fatal 
error: COMPILER INTERNAL ERROR (SEGV) NMAKE: Fatal Error U1077 
"fvdfnfe.exe" : return code '99'

I have called IBM SUpportline/400 to report this. RF
