Jim,

Yes, they way they titled the sections is confusing. They now have a
section titled "What's New in This Release?" which is for V5R4. I suppose
it's accurate the way they do it, but I also find that I can easily miss
it when it's titled that way. But then again, naming things in
documentation is not a task I envy.

btw - sorry about the "Here's the ..." comments. I had thought of sending
you the PDFs directly, but then when I reviewed them I realized they were
probably what you already had and changed back to replying on the mailing
list. As usual shuffling a dozen things at once, I messed up on
correcting my text.

Michael,

Thanks for the response. That is the link that I came up with. The
reason
I thought it was _not_ the V5R4 version, is that both the Programmers
Guide,
and Language Reference have left off the "What's New in V5R4?" section
at
the beginning of the manual, where the online version has that. But the
Language Reference manual lists the XML Generate statement, which was
introduced in V5R4. So - now I am confused - but that is a normal stare
of
mind for me.

Thanks again.
