Subject: [COBOL400-L] INSPECT REPLACING

I am trying to:

INSPECT amtfield REPLACING ALL LEADING ZEROS WITH SPACES.

But I get the following error: LEADING invalid. Line not accepted.

Does anyone know the correct syntax for this?

Thank you,
