Chris,

You need to specify the compiler option *NOMONOPRC. If you do not specify
that, COBOL will automagically uppercase the name of the program being
called. If you looked at the job log you would have seen the hint in the
message " Definition not found for symbol 'QLNDUMPCOBOL'." notice that it
is all in upper case. NOMONOPRC tells the compiler to use it the way you
typed it.

You can also specify this as a PROCESS option - that way you can't forget!

Jay

I tried both of the directory's you listed. It did not solve the problem.
I have not been able to find any information on the directory in IBM's
documentation.

Chris,

It should be one whose name begins with a "Q".
Like QCBLLE or QUSAPIBD.
You might want to check IBM's documentation,
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/index.htm
look under Programming, API's.
Hope this helps.

Jay
