Its not that you have done anything wrong. The AS400 uses External Print files, so once you define the print file within its source(DDS) you must compile/create the print file. If you define all your print within the COBOL programs you may only need a shell print file. You can use QPRINT or a Copy of QPRINT named to the Print File name you require.
