Problem with subfiles

Hi,

We are trying to modify subfile programs so that they could be run
interactively as well as in batch mode. For that we compiled the Display
file with the Display Device option as *NONE>
Now in the program whenever there is a Read or Write operation on the
Subfile, the program is Crashing. Is there any way of dealing with this
situation, without actually doing away with the Read or Write operations ?
