Dear Scott

Many thanks for your tips I feel a bit of a fraud though as I will
potentially be sitting on the other side of the table. I have been using
COBOL off and on for the past 20 years on a wide variety of platforms. I was
working ln local government three years ago where I used Cobol/400 quite
extensively but I decided to take a pot of gold and become a contract
support analyst at Harrods in London unfortunately they did not use Cobol at
all and I had no access to Cobol manuals. I am currently working at HFC bank
in Windsor and again not supporting Cobol applications. I am confident once
I sit down in front of the as/400 all will come back to me but that is not
good preparation for a one off interview. I have ordered a Cobol reference
manual but I have been approached by a financial organisation in Dublin and
they would like to telephone interview me this weekend. I am sure I will be
alright but I just need that self assurance of having some documentation to
read up on. Many thanks again for the tips.

regards

Gareth
