Hello List, I am trying to install a software package that is part COBOL and part RPG. I have 4 jobs that have an object lock on the library that I need to work with. I have to copy the library for backup and the install renames the library and creates a new one. I can't do this without shutting down all these jobs. My problem is this: How do these 4 jobs get the library I need to work with as their current library? I have searched every CL program I can find on the system. We IPL the system after loading the new software. In the STARTCL, there is an entry to add my library in the *last position. This is driving me nuts. I know in BPCS, they use data areas for library lists sometimes. I haven't been able to find any of those here. ANY IDEAS, PLEASE.....
