Well the previous discussion really kick started this list - a welcome change -
lets see what response we get here:

I use DECLARATIVES for error handling which I had hoped would 'kick-in' on all
error conditions within the specified FILE STATUS (i.e. anything other than
'00'). However on minor status values e.g. '04' record length the DECLARATIVES
are not invoked thus giving no info to the error routine. On major STATUS
returns eg 22, 23, 10 etc. it all works fine.

Am I missing something - or is there another way.
