Chris, In your example, the compiler could easily be confused because of the positionling of the scope delimeter, end-perform refers to the perform immediatly preceeding and would leave the initial perform un-terminated until it found a period or an end-perform. Each in-line perform must be terminated with a scope delimiter while an out-of-line perform does not. "BUT" the compiler can get confused! and is most likely pairing the end-perform with the perform add and then notices that the perform varying is un-terminated. And since I am answering then reading :-), the seu editor is even less adapt at parsing! This does work, I have done it.
