You could have that experience regularly when dealing with me and some of my hobbies. ;-)

I don't think anyone still uses GDDM, so I don't think you're likely to find modern examples, sorry. Indeed, I would suggest taking an existing old (RPG III or Cobol maybe) example to see if it even still works

It does indeed work, as written in my other message. I'm just trying to prevent inventing the wheel again (C prototypes).

The interesting part is right at the start (README.md, line 9).

Consider using a web interface, much more powerful and versatile.
