That is a help. In fact I looked at this before but could not make head or
tail of it.
Now I know C and having written an RPG version it makes sense.
I hope IBM wont mind if I use their coding constructs.

I just did a Google search "QDFRTVFD site:ibm.com"

which returned a "C" example for the API
