The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Hello,
I think stat() is your friend. Look on Infocenter and search for stat(), there is also a sample for this.

Subject: [C400-L] How to retrieve the CCSID of a *STMF
Hello,
My program needs to copy a part of a *STMF. (begin at position, offset) To do that, I need to know the source's CCSID because the target file have to be created with the same CCSID.
Is someone knows how to retrieve this CCSID with C/400 ?
Thanks for the help,
Bruno VARON
