How to retrieve the CCSID of a *STMF -- C400-L

Hello,

My program needs to copy a part of a *STMF. (begin at position, offset)
To do that, I need to know the source's CCSID because the target file have to be created with the same CCSID.
Is someone knows how to retrieve this CCSID with C/400 ?
