You can try CancelHandler or RAGE (Register Activation Group Exit) exit
point function, but if they do ENDJOB *IMMED (vs *CTRLD), I don't think even
those are invoked.

One obvious solution is to do clean up on your program entry.  Otherwise,
journaling comes to mind... but that gets complex rather quickly...
