As far as I can tell, stdio.h will generate declaration for snprintf if __IFS_IO__ is not defined. If it is defined, you are supposed to include ifs.h which will generate it.
I'm specifying OUTPUT(*PRINT) on my CRTCMOD: Language level . . . . . . . . : *EXTENDED Presumably, that causes __EXTENDED__ to be defined. System interface options . . . : *NOIFSIO *NOASYNCSIGNAL Presumably, the *NOIFSIO causes __IFS_IO__ to be undefined. In /qibm/include/stdio.h, it looks like the prototype for snprintf will be defined #ifndef __IFS_IO__ and #if defined (__EXTENDED__) && (__OS400_TGTVRM__>=520), but I still get CZM0304 No function prototype given for 'snprintf'. Of course, the first line of the module being compiled is #include <stdio.h>. Thanks for helping.
