Hi.

I need to develop a program that will be able to control an SCSI Tape
Library (SCSI robotics and SCSI tape).

I have some SCSI programming experience from other platforms (Windows,
Linux, HP-UX,...). There are two posible ways to use a SCSI device - you
can use a so called climbed mode (using OS drivers) or a SG - SCSI generic
mode (using CDBs with IOCTLs).

I read some time ago that there is some sort of SG interface available on
OS400 too. I spent some time searching the InfoCenter, however I didn't
find anything regarding SG SCSI programming.

Does anyone know something about OS400 SCSI programming? - any help will
be appreciated ;)

Thanks and best regards,
Dezo
