-----Original Message----- Subject: [C400-L] Program ends, no messages, logs, etc
I am running a program that does a real quick and easy call to system().
I get no output that the program ends, except from a printf I do right
before the call to system. Im expecting to get some
When a program dies abnormally on the iSeries (for ILE/C) you don't get a core dump as such, what you get is either a nice CPF/MCH error message in the job log or on the status line.
Have you put a printf() after the call to system() to see if you get that outputted too?Yes and that doesn't happen. I do this:
print("Going to do the system call"); status = system(string);
printf("Going to check status" ); if ( status < 0 ) {
