There is no "batch" as we know it under windows.  But, you can
use the WIN API for SetThreadPriority to decrease the priority of
the process.  This will allow other tasks to execute.

You also don't mention what flavor of windows you are on.  If
Win95, 98 or ME, the first thing you should do is switch to Win2K
or XP as the Win9x kernel does not do preemptive task switching.
