Batch running on PC

Dear All,

This is not a AS400 issue but AS400 programmes may help.

I have a program in my PC (VB and noting to do with AS400) which contains a
loop for more that 1 milion times, and I am not able to use my PC when I run
this program. it takes 5 hours to get the results.

I would like to know if there is some tools for PC to simulate the AS400
environment and we were able to run the programs on PC in batch proccesing.
and also to view the current status of the program in case of open files and
.. some commands like:WRKUSRJOB (*Active)
