Bom Setup with intercompany process

I have a need to set up a BOM that has a PROCESS (as opposed to a part#) done 
at another warehouse within the company.  I realize I could use a Transfer in 
the BOM, but that requires a part#.  We are trying to get away from creating 
new part #s unnecessarily.
If I use outside processing, It requires a part# again, and also a lot of 
processes. 

Does anyone know a way to create a intercompany PROCESS without creating a 
part#?
