We are on OS400 V5R4 and BPCS V4.0.05 Non Century Dated (cd by Nexgen)
We are moving to OS400 V6R2 and are currently negotiating with INFOR.
We need the observable objects for V40SECURER and ASSETO.
INFOR says that they have tested these objects on V6 os400 but not V7

Q1 - Has anyone tested BPCS V4 Infor Patch on V7 or beyond?
Q2 - Any gotchas with working with INFOR?? on this issue.. (I know pricing
is very difficult)

Infor is asking us to upgrade from ASSET V5.2.01 to Version 6.0.04.. for
us to receive the observable modules..
Q3 - Has anyone done this upgrade recently.. are there any gotchas?
Q4 - has anyone run ASSET V6.0.04 on V6 or V7??

thanks

subject: [BPCS-L] Upgrade from BPCS 8.2.01 to ERP LX 8.3.5 ( including
IDF, WebTop and Ming.le )

Hello

We are currently planning the migration from BPCS 8.2.01 to ERP LX
8.3.5.
The 'Green screen' environment for 8.3.5. is already running in a test
environment.

Our current 8.2.01 runs in a client server windows environment.
Therefore we prefer to use Ming.le as our user interface, which combines
IDF and WebTop functionality.

Are there already sites known where this Ming.le environment is setup and
running for ERP LX 8.3.5. ?
If so:
- how complex was the installation (overview, tips and tricks)
- how about performance experiences
- did you use a consultancy partner
- any other relevant information

Thanks in advance for all your replies,

Peter Heeren
